The Fry Groups tax technical manager, Martin Rimmer, is to relocate to Singapore.

In the new role, Rimmer will be providing individual consultations and ongoing tax advice to the company’s UK expatriate clients throughout the Asia region, taking monthly trips to The Fry Group’s Hong Kong office. He will report to David Pugh, the general manager of the Singapore office.

The Fry Group said that, as well as providing on-the-ground support, Rimmer will be “on hand to provide workshops or seminars to firms across Asia Pacific who are looking for face to face advice regarding the UK’ new Statutory Residency Test and tax planning in general.”
Rimmer’s position in the UK will be filled by former senior tax executive Dean Power.
