How to gain from exposure to alternative investments

By Mark Battersby, 7 Apr 16

Vaqar Zuberi, head of research at Mirabaud Asset Management, talks about the benefits of having alternative investments in portfolios.

He highlights the non-correlation characteristics of alternatives with the two main asset classes of equities and bonds, and also points to the capital protection afforded by hedging strategies.

Vaqar further explains why those advisers and clients who may worry about perceived risks when using hedge funds have nothing to fear if the strategies are correctly implemented with good transparency and liquidity.
