Minister Caruana hosted a financial services breakfast meeting in Zurich and a lunch in Geneva where he delivered speeches and interacted with members of the Swiss financial services community.
He is being accompanied by James Tipping, director of Gibralter’s Finance Centre.
A government spokesman said the events were important for the development of financial links between the two domiciles.
“These events are the equivalent in Switzerland of Gibraltar’s annual finance centre day in London. They are part of a now well-established and developing relationship between our respective finance centres in relation to banking, wealth and asset management and the funds sectors.”
“This year’s events will enable us to present Gibraltar’s now up and running new tax regime and the many opportunities that it provides for further growth and development of our finance centre business with Switzerland.”
