Jordan Tang reports to head of distribution for Australia Matt Gaden and is responsible for the distribution of Henderson’s investment capabilities across its retail channels in the country.
He joins the newly created role from Ausbil Investment Management, where he spent more than a decade in retail roles including key account manager. He has also worked with Rothschild Australia Asset Management.
On the appointment, Gaden said: “The contemporary retail channel will be an important part of the growth and development of Henderson’s Australian business over time.
“Following the launch of the Henderson Global Equities Fund in November last year, we plan to launch further global funds over time and to have someone of Jordan’s experience and calibre lead our retail distribution effort is critical."
Tang’s appointed marks the latest addition to Henderson’s Australian team, which was first announced in May 2012 and is currently headed up by Rob Adams.
