How popular is passive investment across the world?

By Mark Battersby, 3 Dec 19

Schroders’ Gilles Cozma cites high uptake regions and colleague Sean Odedina mulls product trends

The degree of tactical or strategic asset allocation to passive investments varies hugely from one part of the world to another, says Gilles Cozma, product strategist at Schroders.

His colleague Sean Odedina, also a product strategist, sets the overarching scene of how short-term and long-term trends are shaping fund flows in such areas as fixed income and sustainable investments.

They both spelt out their strategic thoughts at International Adviser’s Fund Links Forum in central London’s JW Marriott Grosvenor House Hotel.
