HSBC builds up internationally experienced HNW team

Ward joins from Royal Bank of Canada Wealth Management and has 27 years of international wealth management experience. He is joined in the High Net Worth team by Dean Stewart, a new relationship manager for the Midlands region. Stewart joined from Coutts where he gained nearly 20 years’ experience in private banking.

Also bolstering HSBC Private Banking’s regional presence is Mike Middleton who has been appointed as a strategic financial planner for the North and Scotland. Middleton is a Chartered Financial Planner who has previously held client-facing roles at Barclays Private Banking and Lloyds TSB Private Bank.

The new hires from within HSBC include the appointment of Dominic Smith as a relationship manager in Manchester and Kelly Lasarow as relationship manager for the South region, both joining from HSBC Premier. Carli Watson has started a new role as a relationship manager in the specialist Charities team, moving from a non-client facing role within the UK Private Banking team.
