IFA consolidator completes triple swoop

By Robbie Lawther, 11 Feb 21

It is on course to double in size by the end of the year

Elevation Financial Group (EFG) has bought three IFA practices just days after it completed a debt raise to fund an “extensive acquisition programme”.

EFG has acquired Oakham-based J P Leefe and Company, Warwick-based Pendra Wealth Management, and bought a majority shareholding in Cedar Wealth Planning in Derby.

Neil King, principal of Cedar & Co, will remain a shareholder and director.

The financial terms of the deals were not disclosed.

Tony Smith, group managing director at Elevation, said: “Since being founded in 2011, we have grown rapidly and successfully through the adoption of a successful buy-and-integrate strategy.”

The firm plans to double in size by the end of 2021, increasing the funds it manages to £500m ($691m, €570m).
