IFA network partners with north east adviser firm

By Robbie Lawther, 15 Oct 19

Group will provide marketing, administrative and technological support to the business

UK adviser group Beaufort Financial has agreed its 19th IFA partnership.

North east-based Akrivis Wealth, launched earlier this month, has partnered with Beaufort Financial.

The deal sees Akrivis Wealth become an appointed representative of Beaufort Financial, with the group providing marketing, administrative and technological support to the business, and allowing founder Alister Gaines to focus on advising clients.

Gaines was previously investment director at Sunderland-based CDC Wealth Management for 11 years.

“Now, more than ever, people need top quality financial advice and we have strong ambitions to build a significant business that will help support this increasing demand,” said Gaines.

“The advice landscape is changing and, with many advisers leaving the industry and many more set to retire over the next few years, there is a clear opportunity for those forward-thinking advisers who want to drive progression in the industry.

“Our partnership with Beaufort Financial is essential in achieving these aims, providing the support we need to grow the business and help us change more peoples’ lives for the better financially.”

History

The Beaufort Group of Companies was established in 2012 and is a leading provider of financial services for private and clients.

With headquarters in Surrey and offices throughout the UK, the Group offers financial advice through Beaufort Financial, a nationwide partnership of whole of market IFAs.

The group also owns a discretionary fund management company, Beaufort Investment Management, which has over £1bn ($1.24, €1.14) in funds under management on behalf of private clients, trusts, charities and corporate bodies.

Around 100 people work across the group including 60 registered individuals and 19 partner firms advising over 25,000 clients.
