By Robbie Lawther, 13 Dec 22

Combined entity will have assets of over €300m

Ireland-headquartered financial services firm SYS Group has entered into a strategic partnership with Dublin-based PGM Financial Services.

The deal will bring the combined assets under the SYS Group to over €300m (£257m, $316m), with €40m added from PGM Financial Services.

The combined entity will offer a range of financial advice services including retirement planning, investment and savings, inheritance and succession planning and tax planning.

As well as Nenagh, SYS Group has offices in Dublin, Cork and Waterford.

Tony Delaney, chief executive of SYS Group, said: “I am delighted that we have entered into a strategic partnership with Patrick McEntee, trading as PGM Financial Services, which will consolidate our position as one of the leading advisory firms in the Irish market.”

Patrick McEntee, director of PGM Financial Services, added: “I have chosen to partner with SYS Group due to their integrity and ability to advise clients with their expertise and offerings in retirement planning, bespoke investment offerings, mortgages, and tax advice. We have every confidence that our strategic partnership will bring an enhanced offering to all my clients and the market.”

The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
