UK fund management group Kames Capital has entered the Swedish investment market for the first time with the launch of 10 of its funds.

UK fund management group Kames Capital has entered the Swedish investment market for the first time with the launch of 10 of its funds.

Domiciled in Dublin and registered for sale in Sweden, the funds are available in Swedish krona denominated share classes.

Swedish investors will have access to the Kames High Yield Global Bond and Kames Strategic Global Bond Funds; as well as the Kames Investment Grade Global Bond Fund.

They will also be able to access Kames’s expertise in absolute return funds.

Kames’s funds are now available in 14 countries across Europe, as well as the territories of Guernsey and Jersey.

Sophisticated market

Steven Kenny, director of wholesale, said: “The Swedish investment market is one of the most sophisticated in Europe and therefore we believe our product range of fixed income, absolute return and equity products will be well received by Swedish investors.

“We feel there is a fantastic opportunity to create a firm foothold in this market, whilst providing investors with access to our leading funds.”

Kames Capital manages £56.8bn ($78.8bn, €72bn) on behalf of UK and international clients.
