KGAL hires Carolin Vormann from HSBC as head of institutional business

Prior to her time at HSBC, she was head of NBFI (non-bank financial intermediation) at Commerzbank

KGAL has recruited Carolin Vormann from HSBC as head of institutional business. 

She was previously managing director, global relationship banker insurance in HSBC’s capital markets business in the DACH region.

Prior to her time at HSBC, she was Head of NBFI (non-bank financial intermediation) at Commerzbank, where she successfully headed up the insurance and pension fund teams.

She began her career in the insurance industry in Hanover having completed her professional training in insurance and passing two state examinations in law.

Florian Martin, co-CEO of KGAL and Head of Sales, said: “We are delighted to welcome Carolin to our senior management team as an experienced executive with outstanding contacts among our target clients in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland).

“With her extensive expertise in institutional sales, we will take an important strategic step towards enhancing our focus on the needs of our institutional clients”.
