Wheeler, who is vice-chair of the Jersey branch of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, previously worked in the UK, Bermuda and Switzerland before moving to Jersey in 2002 with her family. The companies she has worked for in her career include AIB and Capita.
The role is a new one
First Names Group has more than 450 employees and offices in the Isle of Man, Jersey, Cyprus, Switzerland, Ireland, UK, the British Virgin Islands and Japan.
In September First Names Group appointed Andrew Ryan as managing director of its Irish operation.
