New UK wealth firm buys IFA business

By Robbie Lawther, 5 Nov 20

Company says it will be ‘selectively considering acquisition opportunities’

Bristol-headquartered wealth manager Integrity365 has announced the acquisition of IFA firm MRIB.

It forms part of the company’s ambition for “new business growth, client retention and continued investment in recruitment, selectively considering acquisition opportunities, both businesses and individuals – which enhance existing capabilities”.

The acquisition of MRIB Financial Services, a directly regulated entity, was completed on 31 July 2020.

It provides financial and insurance services to the High Wycombe area.

The insurance arm of the MRIB Group was previously sold to form Partners&, a business that will continue to support Integrity365 clients with insurance relationships.

The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Launch

The M&A announcement comes as Integrity365 opens for business as a wealth management firm operating from its head office in Bristol, with business hubs in High Wycombe and the Midlands.

The firm will provide independent financial planning advice to both personal and business clients via its employed adviser base, many of which hold chartered financial planner status.

It has in excess of £320m ($418.3m, €354.3m) in funds under management.

Management team

Leading the Integrity365 business are Beavis Morgan group chairman Paul Jackson and client relationship director Chris Jelf; who is the founder of previously AIM-listed Jelf Group, a UK-based general insurance and financial services business.

Alex Rowe, Don Wild and Adrian Brown, as well as recently appointed chief operating officer Matt Goy, make up the management team.

Jelf said: “Building client trust and fostering long-term relationships with my clients has always been a priority for me. I am passionate about this and consider my partnership approach to working with clients a key differentiator.

“I have been hearing loud and clear that people need a financial planning business that not only exhibits the highest standards of ethics and professionalism, but also delivers high quality advice they can truly value and trust.

“It therefore gives me great pleasure to see the momentum that has already been created around Integrity365, and experience the shared passion and drive for trusted partnerships – with clients, colleagues and aligned businesses – that has formed the cornerstones of this new and refreshingly client-centric business.”
