Non-dom specialist targets int’l growth at LGT Vestra

By Will Grahame-Clarke, 4 Oct 17

Wealth manager LGT Vestra has hired Valentina Tacchino from Kleinwort Benson for a new role building and leading an international clients team.

Valentina Tacchino

Tacchino specialises in looking after the financial requirements of international families with complex arrangements in various jurisdictions, devising and coordinating investment solutions for families with global business and family-life requirements.

The wealth manager, which has £9bn ($11.9bn €10.1bn) asset under management, said the appointment was in response to client demand.

New Role

In her new role, Tacchino will build an international team and strengthen cooperation with LGT international offices.

She spent the previous five years at Kleinwort Benson setting up and developing the international team looking after UK resident non-domiciled and international clients.

Prior to Kleinwort Benson, Tacchino spent seven years at the London office of Clariden Leu, where she was head of the UK resident non-domiciled team.

The international client specialist joined Clariden Leu from Schroders Private Banking where she spent 11 years, becoming a director of the international team in 2003.

David Scott, chairman of LGT Vestra, said: “Valentina has significant experience and understanding of the multifaceted needs of international individuals and families.

“Her trusted and respected approach working with international clients further broadens and strengthens our bespoke offering to clients.”
