International law firm Ogier has appointed a new partner to lead its litigation practice in Cayman.

International law firm Ogier has appointed a new partner to lead its litigation practice in Cayman.

Richard de Lacy, who starts in his new position today (Monday 19 March), joins the company from leading chambers 3 Stone Buildings in London, where he was particularly distinguished in commercial litigation and insolvency cases in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the Americas.

Nick Rogers, managing partner, Ogier Cayman said: “Richard’s appointment allows us to build on the strong foundation we have established servicing the complex litigation needs of Ogier’s global client base.”

De Lacy replaces Chris Russell who will be leaving Ogier after seven years.
