The group, which has operations in Malta, Gibraltar, the Isle of Man and the UK, said Forman will be based in its Manchester office when he starts the new role in January.
Group chief executive, Stewart Davies, said: “Paul’s outstanding reputation and vast experience in our market speaks for itself, and will play a significant role in the drive of our new SIPP business, both in the UK and worldwide.”
Forman joins from London & Colonial where he was head of the company’s sales force in the Midlands and North West. He has also previously worked for Isle of Man based pensions provider Boal & Co. and before that was a regional sales director for Friends Provident International in Hong Kong.
