The research contains indicators on women’s understanding of pensions and investments and how they differ from men’s understanding, namely:

  • 80% of women vs 72% of men don’t know the value of their pension.
  • 19% of women vs 14% of men would trust a media personality when seeking financial advice.
  • Women are significantly more likely to be concerned about investment in armaments or countries with dubious human rights.
  • 30% of women vs 22% of men want to transition into retirement by reducing their working hours.
