Aviva

Colm Holmes has been named chief executive of Aviva UK General Insurance (UKGI). He replaces Maurice Tulloch, who was appointed chief executive of UKGI in October 2013 and assumed the additional role of chairman of Aviva Global General Insurance, to which he will move full time, in July 2014.

Subject to regulatory approval, Holmes will step up to his new role on 1 June 2016. Until that date, Tulloch will be continue in both roles; while Holmes will remain chief financial officer of UKGI.

Deutsche Bank

Deutsche Bank has appointed Frank Krings as chief country officer for Luxembourg, effective 15 March 2016. He will also become chief executive of Deutsche Bank Luxembourg and general manager of Deutsche Bank AG Luxembourg Branch, subject to regulatory approvals.

For the past four and a half years, Krings was general manager and chief country officer of Deutsche Bank Thailand, also serving as chairman of the board of directors of the Association of International Banks (AIB) in the Kingdom.

He succeeds Boris Liedtke, who decided to step down as of 31 December 2015.

PwC

PricewaterhouseCoopers has named Bob Moritz as its new global chairman for a four-year term, starting 1 July 2016. Moritz has served as chairman and senior partner of PwC US since 2009.

During his career, the entirety of which has been at PwC, Moritz spent three years with PwC Japan, where he provided audit and advisory services to numerous European and US-based financial services organisations operating in Japan and across Asia.

He has also held a number of leadership roles within PwC, including leading the US Assurance practice, as well as serving as managing partner for the New York region.

Amundi

Eric Wohleber has been named head of real and alternative assets sales at Amundi. Having started his career in 1994 in the marketing department of UAP Insurance (AXA Group), he joined Invesco France in 1995, where he worked for more than 10 years, mainly on the retail side.

In 2006, he moved to Barclays Global Investors (BGI) in London to prepare the launch of the French branch and to lead the iShares ETF Sales in France. In 2007, after the launch of the branch in Paris, he became country manager for BGI France and built a local sales team.

When BlackRock acquired BGI in 2009, Wohleber worked on the merger of the two branches and became country manager for BlackRock. Since then, he has lead the iShares Sales activity and was a permanent member of the EMEA Retail ExCo.

Openwork

Financial services partnership Openwork has appointed Neil Milner as chief operating officer. Milner joins from car maintenance firm Halfords where he was head of programmes, responsible for executing the business key strategic initiatives.

At Openwork, Milner will be responsible for developing and improving the network’s processes and enhancing outcomes for clients.

McGilivray will be responsible for identifying opportunities and building relationships between Jersey and the City, and for supporting member firms with their private wealth management, funds, and capital markets growth strategies.

Having moved to London in 2008, McGilivray started his career in Boston, Massachusetts, where he provided management consultancy services to US asset managers and developed specialisms in wealth management for private clients, fund management and administration.
