Pictet Funds names Gallo to head NA, cross-border distribution

Pictet Funds has named Simone Gallo to its North American and cross-border distribution team.

Pictet Funds has named Simone Gallo to its North American and cross-border distribution team.

Gallo joins Pictet from with Goldman Sachs Asset Management, where he was most recently head of global partners of EMEA Third Party Distribution.

The position at Pictet is a new one, and reflects growth at the company, particularly in this area, according to a spokesman.

In his new role, Gallo will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with international financial institutions. He reports to head of North American and cross-border distribution at Pictet Funds Liz Dillon.

Based in Geneva, the Pictet Group employs more than 3,000 and has offices in almost 20 financial centres, including London, Zurich, Dubai, Hong Kong and Lausanne.
