The duo said the Stellar AIM IHT ISA has attracted interest from international advisers looking to reduce IHT liabilities for their expat clients alongside other offshore products.
The product offers investors the opportunity to invest their ISA into AIM-listed stocks, which after being held for two years become IHT-free, while also staying free from income tax and capital gains tax.
The portfolio is also available on Platform One outside an ISA wrapper, and both variants offer the option of insurance to ensure that on an investor’s death the value of the investment has not shrunk, even if the market has fallen.
Stellar Asset Management, which specialises in tax-efficient investment services aimed at the advisers of individuals, families, and trustees has been appointed to discretionally manage the stocks with the aim of keeping liquidity high and volatility low.

Michael Fordham, managing director at Platform One, said the AIM IHT ISA allows advisers with expat clients to mitigate the IHT liabilities of their existing UK assets alongside vehicles geared towards their offshore assets on one platform.
