Rocco Sepe, managing director international at Friends Life, is to leave the company later this year

Sepe will continue to lead Friends Life’s international businesses, Friends Provident International, fpb AG and Lombard until his departure.

He has led the international division of Friends Life for more than six years during which time the company said its new business APE (Annual Premium Equivalent) has more than doubled. In that time the company has also established operations in Singapore, the United Arab Emirates and Germany, as well as entering into a joint venture in Malaysia.

A spokesperson for Friends Life said the company had not yet begun looking for a replacement and had not agreed a leaving date with Sepe.
