Royal London bolsters CISI financial planning mentoring scheme

By Robbie Lawther, 27 Mar 19

Schroders and James Hay already assist mentors and mentees with a technical helpline

Financial services company Royal London is the third firm to support the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment’s (CISI) financial planning mentoring scheme.

It follows Schroders and James Hay in offering guidance via the scheme’s technical helpline exclusively for mentors and mentees.

Ian Smart, product architect at Royal London, said: “It’s great to get involved in such a fantastic scheme which offers help and support to individuals wishing to achieve more in their financial services career.

“At Royal London, we know the importance of advice and we are delighted to be involved in helping people achieve their goals in financial planning.”

The scheme, which is free to join, started on 1 January 2019.

Mentors leading the scheme are Certified Financial Planner accredited professionals, while mentees must be members of both the CISI and its financial planning forum, who are looking for help and support to achieve their professional financial planning goals.
