Schroders has named ex-Hines investment manager Marina Bottero to head up property fund management at its Italian division, with immediate effect.
Cristina Ferrari Bravo was named head of property asset management, also in Italy.
Bottero, who has worked in the Italian commercial real estate sector for over 20 years, will be responsible for Schroder’s Italian property business and overseeing its expansion.
Bravo has been with Schroders since 2003 with responsibility for the asset management of its shopping centre portfolio.
Neil Turner, head of property fund management at Schroders, noted the appointments followed other recent senior appointments, including the naming of Buddy Roes to head up Schroder Property’s logistics business.
