By Robbie Lawther, 17 Mar 21

Deal is a ‘significant milestone’ for its growth strategy

Oakmere Wealth Management has bought Didsbury-based financial planning firm David Walsh for an undisclosed sum.

Founder David Walsh has spent 20 years in the financial services industry and will continue to serve his clients and provide ongoing financial advice.

The acquisition means that Oakmere Wealth Management now employs a total of nine staff.

Carla Brown, managing director and founder of Oakmere Wealth Management, said: “We are delighted to bring David Walsh and his team on board.

“This is a significant milestone for Oakmere in terms of our growth strategy and we are confident our clients will continue to benefit from a fully holistic financial planning approach so they can achieve the life they want to live.”

Oakmere Wealth Management is a St James’s Place partner practice with offices in Northwich, Cheshire and central Manchester.
