SJP partners with legal trade body

By Cristian Angeloni, 13 Jun 22

To provide financial advice to its members

Wealth management giant St James’s Place has joined forces with the Law Society of England and Wales.

The firm has entered into a strategic partnership with the trade body to provide wealth management and financial planning services to its solicitors and clients.

SJP will also provide services to legal professionals looking to acquire or merge with other practices as well as create a succession plan for the business and a retirement plan for the Society member.

The wealth management firm already provides services to the Law Society of Scotland.

Paul Ainslie, head of campaigns and partnerships at SJP, said: “Our remit is simple, we will share our professional expertise with members so that they have the confidence and knowledge to help make the right decisions at the right time to create the future they want for themselves, their family, their business and their clients.”

Fiona O’Mahony, head of partnerships at the Law Society, added: “As a strategic partner, we are looking for SJP to offer their expertise to support our members in all aspects of financial planning with clients. We are also keen to see how their advisors deliver their knowledge and advice to solicitors as both individuals and businesses themselves.”

SJP will also provide resources for solicitors through articles, CPD training as well as practice area updates.
