Skybound Wealth Management enters Australia advice market

By Robbie Lawther, 22 Mar 22

To provide services to British expats living in the country

Global advice firm Skybound Wealth Management has expanded into Australia.

This means it can now provide advice on four different continents across the globe.

The firm said that it will help UK expats in Australia with pensions, savings, investments, and UK tax liabilities such as inheritance and capital gains tax.

Ian Sweet, Skybound chief commercial officer, said in a statement on 17 March 2022: “The need for cross border financial planning is increasing throughout Australia.

“We will be pooling our collective resources, in-house knowledge, expertise and technology to provide advice to British expats living in the region.”

There are approximately 1.2 million UK expats residing in Australia. Skybound said that many UK expats in Australia have savings in Britain that are either dormant or no longer fit for purpose.
