Threadneedle continues Asia expansion

Threadneedle Investments has appointed June Wong to the position of regional CEO for Hong Kong.

Threadneedle Investments has appointed June Wong to the position of regional CEO for Hong Kong.

Wong, who joins the company from AllianceBernstein in Hong, will be tasked with supporting Asia Pacific chairman Raymundo Yu and head of distribution Campbell Fleming as the company continues its expansion plans in the region.

At AllianceBernstein, Wong was head of institutions and was also a board member of AllianceBernstein Hong Kong ltd. She joined the company in 2004 as head of institutions, north Asia managing a team of 10 staff. In this role Wong represented all asset classes including fixed income, equities, and alternatives and was responsible for consultant relationships, business development, client service and marketing.
