After months of speculation, it was announced in July that Aviva was selling Friends Provident International to RL360°. The Isle of Man-based international life company managed to dodge industry speculation ahead of the confirmation, much to the delight of chief executive David Kneeshaw.
He told IA at the time that the sale was “a game changer” for the life insurance industry.
The acquisition adds Singapore and Latin America to RL360° global presence.
