UBS appoints head of European wealth management

UBS has appointed Jakob Stott as head of its European wealth management division.

UBS has appointed Jakob Stott as head of its European wealth management division.

Stott will assume overall responsibility for UBS’ onshore wealth management business in Europe from the beginning of October and will have leadership of more than 45 branch offices in Germany, UK, France, Monaco, Italy, Spain, Austria, Luxembourg, Belgium and the Netherlands.

In a career spanning 28 years, Stott has held a number of senior positions at JP Morgan. Prior to his departure in June 2010 he was chief operating officer for JP Morgan’s Investment Bank in EMEA as well as global head of the reputation risk office.
