UBS plans to build out wealth management team in India

By Thomas Blott, 21 Aug 23

Bank is reportedly looking to add at least seven relationship managers

UBS is planning to build out its wealth management team in India, according to a report from Bloomberg.

The report said that the Swiss bank is looking to add at least seven relationship managers, taking its advisory headcount to 25, as well as two in portfolio management services.

UBS did not immediately respond to a request for comment from our sister publication Fund Selector Asia.

The wealth giant had re-entered the Indian market following the acquisition of Credit Suisse earlier this year.
