Wealth manager opens Hong Kong office

It has hired the former Singapore CEO of a securities firm to run the operation

Singapore-headquartered independent wealth manager SingAlliance has doubled its office count in Asia with the launch of a Hong Kong subsidiary.

This comes following approval from the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC), according to a Finews Asia report on its website.

It is the firm’s third operation after it launched in Singapore in 2011 and opened in Geneva in 2017.

Management

Also, SingAlliance has hired Angel Chia as chief executive of its Hong Kong office.

She has 15 years’ experience in the financial industry in Taipei, New York, Hong Kong and Singapore.

Chia was formerly chief executive of Singapore at Chinese securities firm Shenwan Hongyuan and was most recently assistant general manager at the company, according to her Linkedin profile.
