People often lump insurance into three categories: car, home, and life. While few would think of the world of insurance as an exciting place, Aegon has put together a list of 10 weird and wonderful insurance policies to brighten, what has been for some, a dreary week.

Kiss kiss

Gene Simmons is famous for his notably long, and overexposed, tongue.

In the 1970s, when the Kiss frontman was at the peak of his career, Simmons insured his tongue for $1m.

Full disclosure, this next insurance policy is pure gossip, but it was too good not to share.

Rumour has it that Welsh singing legend Tom Jones took out an insurance policy against the loss of his infamous chest hair for a massive £3.5m.

The Welsh singer has yet to comment.
