signia hires khemka for overseas push

6 Oct 11

Signia Wealth has appointed Shalini Khemka as a managing director.

Signia Wealth has appointed Shalini Khemka as a managing director.

Khemka will also seek to develop Signia’s private equity arm alongside Spencer Moulton, a director at the London-based firm.

Since it was established last year, Signia has increased its assets under supervision to £1.9bn. The company, which offers tailored wealth management services to “individuals and families who often have complicated needs”, announced in July that it had registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission to provide investment advice to US residents.

In her global role, Signia said Khemka will work closely with Nathalie Dauriac-Stoebe, its chief executive officer, to build on its existing range of services and grow the business overseas.

Dauriac-Stoebe added: “In the past few months, Signia Wealth has made a number of notable key senior leadership appointments and Shalini’s appointment will add further depth to our senior management team”.

Khemka joins Signia while retaining her role as chief executive and board director of The London Entrepreneurial Exchange, which she co-founded in 2010. The London Entrepreneurial Exchange, a non-profit organisation, aims to support founders of businesses and promote entrepreneurial activity.
