In his new role Pothier will manage the company’s multi-asset global thematic fund of funds which focuses on significant socio-economic, technological or environmental changes that “present opportunities for the long term investor”.
Pothier joins Pioneer following four years at HSBC Global Asset Management where he was also a senior portfolio manager. Prior to HSBC, Pothier worked as an analyst and portfolio manager at Axa Investment Management.
At Pioneer, Pothier will report to head of multi-asset fund solutions, John O’Toole and will co-manage the fund with Bertrand Paquot, multi-asset portfolio manager.
