Bradshaw leaves Old Mutual International

12 Sep 16

Marcel Bradshaw, sales director for Old Mutual International (OMI), who led the company’s drive to expand its core markets in Hong Kong, Singapore, Latin America, South Africa and the Middle East, has resigned.

Marcel Bradshaw, sales director for Old Mutual International (OMI), who led the company’s drive to expand its core markets in Hong Kong, Singapore, Latin America, South Africa and the Middle East, has resigned.

OMI said in a statement on Monday that, having spent the last couple of years undertaking a significant amount of travel in order to carry out his role, Bradshaw had decided he needs a fully UK-based role in order to establish stronger roots for him and his family.

“Marcel returned to the business in January 2015 to lead the international distribution team and support and strengthen the international adviser market through regulatory and business transformation. We wish Marcel the best for the future and thank him for his contribution to the business,” the company said.

The formal announcement of Bradshaw’s departure was made by Steven Levin, chief executive of Old Mutual Wealth’s investment platforms and the former global head of distribution, to staff on Friday and the company said he will be in his post until the end of October.

“We are currently in the process of finding a replacement for him,“ it said.

Bradshaw joined Old Mutual’s international operation in January 2015 when it was called Skandia International. He was formerly managing director of Glacier International, the offshore division of the Sanlam Group.

Bradshaw replaced Victor Frances at Skandia International who had held the sales director role for for three years.
