Top destinations for sun-seeking British expats

By Kirsten Hastings, 4 Aug 17

More than six out of 10 British expats (63%) consider the weather to be a potential benefit before moving abroad, compared with a global average of 46%, according to InterNations, a global network and information site for people living and working abroad.

A better climate is one of the top-three things British expats look forward to the most.

More than six out of 10 (63%) considered it a potential benefit before relocating — only the Finnish (66%) and Irish (64%) long even more for sunnier shores.

This is hardly surprising, as their countries of origin can all be found among the worst countries to move to for the weather.
