Top destinations for sun-seeking British expats

Summer in the UK this year has been a brief affair, so it comes as no surprise that nearly two-thirds of British expats think about the weather when planning their moves abroad. But sunshine isn’t the only factor prospective expats should consider.
In addition to the weather, the attitude towards expats and families is also warm in Uganda: while 77% of expats considered the climate a potential benefit before moving, 89% of expats in Uganda rate the friendliness towards foreign residents positively.
In addition, every expat with dependent children in Uganda says that the attitude towards families and children is good, with 68% even rating it “very good”, compared to only 39% globally.
Interestingly, even though 70% rate the quality of education positively, Uganda is the country where parents are most likely to home-school their children with 23%, compared to a global level of only 4%.
