Pippa Dilley has been named administration manager at Blacktower Financial Management (International), a new role at the company which is said to have been created in response to recent expansion at the company.

Dilley had been director of administration at Holborn Assets Ltd in Dubai. She has relocated to Gibraltar, where Blacktower’s main administrative offices are located.

According to Blacktower general manager Robert Mancera, Dilley’s duties will include helping to oversee Nexus Global, Blacktower’s IFA network.

Blacktower was founded in London in 1985 by John Westwood, who continues to head up the company, and three colleagues. Westwood began expanding the business into Southern Europe in 2000, after he and his wife built a holiday home in the Algarve and discovered a market for high-quality advisory services among their new neighbours.

Today Blacktower FMI has some 20 advisers in Spain, Portugal, France and Italy, while its Nexus Global network has more than 30 affiliated representatives throughout the EU, Mancera said.
