Three former employees of Synergy Partnership have founded The Invictus Partnership, a global fund distribution company with a stable of three alternative investment products.

Ed Birkbeck covers Asia and the Middle East, while Neil Baskerville is responsible for Africa, the Americas and Western Europe. Roger Clarke, the former Hong Kong-based sales director for Miton Asset Management who joined Synergy last year, looks after distribution in Europe.

Invictus has the worldwide distribution rights to: Exigo Global Arbitrage, a retail product which aims to offer daily liquidity and low volatility; Apollo, a Mauritius-registered multi-asset portfolio launched in 2011; and Magma, a fund combining active asset allocation and managed futures.

“The establishment of Invictus has been an evolution over a number of years in the industry for the three of us,” said Birkbeck.

“It’s a great opportunity to work together with the network we have developed offering a range of complementary funds. We are very grateful for the support received so far and look forward to being in contact with our network over the near future."
