Coutts has once again added to its rapidly expanding Asian team, with the appointment of Johnny Heng as Asia head of active advisory.

Coutts has once again added to its rapidly expanding Asian team, with the appointment of Johnny Heng as Asia head of active advisory.

Heng will report to head of products & services for Asia, Ken Sue who is also new to the team having joined Coutts from HSBC in May.

Based in Singapore, Heng will be responsible for the development of specialist advisory services in Asia. Coutts said, leading a team of specialists, he will consult with clients on the design of bespoke investment strategies and solutions.

Heng joins Coutts from Credit Suisse where he was most recently managing director for ultra high net-worth individual and family office investment consulting.

“The shift in the behaviour of investors and clients towards a more active advisory style is a fast-growing trend in Asia,” said Sue.

“Clients increasingly want to be more involved in their portfolios – they want to be more informed, and they want to drive their own investment strategy and decision process. This leads to an increasing demand for expertise and advisory services.  Johnny’s appointment underscores our commitment to listening to our clients and providing them with exceptional wealth management solutions that meet their evolving needs.”
