Old Mutual International has named Karen Blatchford as head of international marketing to spearhead the next phase of its growth plans.

Old Mutual International has named Karen Blatchford as head of international marketing to spearhead the next phase of its growth plans.

Blanchford joins from Legal & General Investment Management where she was most recently sales and marketing director responsible for the retail investment proposition.

She will report to Old Mutual Wealth marketing director Michelle Andrews in a role which entails creating a cohesive whole from the integration of Quilter Cheviot and Old Mutual Global Investors by developing investment solutions for international advisers.

Blanchford will also help the business build its footprint in its core international markets and raise the bar on the solutions available to international investors, the company said.

Andrews said “a pivotal moment” had been reached in the development of Old Mutual International, with Wealth Interactive building momentum, and Blanchford now helping to drive and develop the strategy going forward.
