The Transparency Task Force (TTF) has organised a march in central London which will include ex- Premiership footballers such as Andy Cole in a bid to highlight the victims of investment fraud.
The ‘Enough is Enough march for Justice’ is taking place in London on the afternoon of 17 April, starts at 2:15pm at the Royal Courts of Justice and ends at the Houses of Parliament in Westminster.
The TTF said the the march was about giving a voice to the victims of investment fraud, financial crime and scams, particularly those that have been let down badly by the authorities, including and especially the Financial Conduct Authority.
Andy Agathangelou, founder, Transparency Task Force, said: “The overall idea is that we are bringing together people who are fed up with how hard it is to get redress/compensation/justice if they have become a victim of a scam/fraud/financial crime; the march is a chance to ‘give them a voice’ and protest at the ineffectiveness of the authorities including the regulators.
“This is our second march; the first was a very successful rally back in May 2022 (see the website for it here), which I’m proud to mention made its way into this BBC Panorama documentary – our 17 April march is also being filmed for another serious documentary about the scams/fraud/financial crime/regulatory failure problem.”
He added that “some ex Premiership footballers are going to be marching with us including Andy Cole – they have all been victims of serious financial crime”.
