Lumin Wealth acquires Professional Financial Centre

By Mark Battersby, 12 Feb 25

This is its ninth acquisition since 2019

Lumin Wealth is pleased to announce that it has acquired Professional Financial Centre (Thames Valley) Ltd, a financial advice firm based in Berkshire, UK.

The purchase will add over £50m of assets under management to the Lumin VZ Group, and is the ninth acquisition since 2019. The tie-up was brokered by Bristol-based Gunner & Co.

Lumin Wealth is a financial advice and discretionary fund manager firm, with offices in St. Albans, London, Bishop’s Stortford, Beaconsfield and Reading.

The acquisition builds on Lumin’s strategy of partnering with like-minded advisers who share the same high standards and commitment to client-centric solutions.

Lumin provides a long-term and stable home for advisers and their clients who are looking for an alternative to the many private equity solutions in the marketplace.

Martin Cotter, managing director of the Lumin VZ Group, said: “We are delighted to welcome PFC to Lumin. Directors Kirsten Dalton and Jeremy White are highly competent Chartered Financial Planners with a combined 50 years’ of experience in the industry.

“PFC shares the same focus on providing independent and high-quality personalised financial advice. We look forward to working together and are confident that the move will be a success for both parties going forward.”

Kirsten Dalton, managing director at Professional Financial Centre said : “We are delighted to be joining forces with Lumin Wealth.
Lumin is an innovative and dynamic company with a shared focus on delivering value for clients at all times.

“This move ensures that our clients can be ensured of a stable, long-term home and will continue to receive high-quality advice, in addition to the various benefits that being part of a larger organisation entails.”
