Leininger is an associate partner at Arendt Regulatory & Consulting, where she heads the cross-border fund marketing and distribution practice.”

AJ Bell

Charlie Musson will step into the newly created role of chief product officer from 1 May, where he will oversee the growth of AJ Bell’s platform proposition across both advised and D2C markets. Musson is currently managing director of the firm’s D2C platform business and has worked at AJ Bell for over a decade.

It comes as advised platform head Billy Mackay is set to retire from his role in May and move into an executive consultant role. MacKay has been managing director of AJ Bell’s advised platform business since 2021 and has been with AJ Bell since 2008.

Mark Rendle will replace Mackay on the advised business, while Shaun Yates will replace Musson as managing director of the D2C platform business. Rendle is currently product director while Yates is strategy director.

Fidelity International

Fidelity International has hired Elly Irving as director of stewardship to support the firm’s corporate engagement activity across EMEA and the Americas.

Irving, who was previously director of stewardship at Lazard Asset Management, will ensure the firm drives meaningful progress on the ESG issues most important to its clients and will help strengthen Fidelity’s stewardship and ESG capabilities globally.

She will be based in London and report into Flora Wang, head of stewardship.

HSBC

HSBC has appointed Anastasia Soldatova as head of HSBC Expat to lead the bank’s internationally focused expat business.

Based in HSBC’s Jersey office, Soldatova will be responsible for managing the expat team of wealth and relationship managers to support the bank’s international and globally mobile customers with their overseas financial needs.

Prior to joining HSBC, Anastasia spent 21 years at Citi, most recently as a director and international personal bank head, EMEA.

Julius Baer

Julius Baer Group’s Richard Campbell-Breeden will be stepping down from his role as vice chairman at the next AGM having decided not to seek re-election.

He will be succeeded by Juerg Hunziker to ensure the board continues to have permanent senior representation within Switzerland, a critical growth market for the firm – subject to his re-election as a board director by shareholders.

Utmost has appointed Tim Goodall as head of technical sales, Singapore, to help drive growth within the financial advisory channel in the country.

In his new role, Goodall will report directly to head of Asia Mark Christal and will be tasked with supporting and driving growth within the financial advisory channel in Singapore.
