Quilter Financial Planning has developed its own artificial intelligence (AI) product for its advisers with tech specialist Aveni.
The tool, “Aveni Assist”, is now live across Quilter appointed representative advice firms and is intended to support advisers in serving a larger number of clients while deepening the quality of existing relationships, Quilter said.
Initially, Aveni Assist will enable adviesrs to record, transcribe and summarise client meetings and agreed actions, with the aim of significantly cutting the time spent on manual paperwork and increasing the capacity to formulate and deliver recommendations.
The tool, which is also being used internally across the business, also helps advisers capture key information from face-to-face and online meetings so they don’t have to take notes during client conversations. Further functions will be added over the coming months as Quilter expands the role of AI across its network.
Steve Gazard, chief distribution officer at Quilter, said: “Increasing the use of digital tools, and AI in particular, is becoming essential to strengthening how advisers work with clients. Aveni Assist helps reduce complexity and gives advisers more time for the conversations that shape good financial decisions.
“The fundamentals of advice will not change because clients still want personal support from someone who understands their circumstances. Technology’s role is to remove friction and help advisers focus on the parts of the relationship that matter most.”
