Clifton Wealth Partnership has completed the acquisition of Hertfordshire-based Dukes IFA, adding around 170 client households and £43 million in assets under management to the partnership.
Dukes IFA is based in Bushey, Hertfordshire, and has built a client base concentrated within a five-mile radius of its office. The firm is led by director Adrian Duke-Cohan, who has spent close to 40 years in financial services.
Duke-Cohan will remain involved with the business for a transitional period of up to two years, supporting clients and ensuring a smooth handover. In retirement, he plans to spend more time travelling, with the intention of eventually buying a holiday home.
Duke-Cohan said: “’ve spent many years building trust with clients and supporting them through different stages of life, so finding the right home for those relationships was essential.
“I took time to meet a number of potential partners, but Clifton stood out. It has been a privilege to support clients over the years. This next step is about making sure they remain in a strong position, with the right people around them for the future.”
Clifton Wealth Partnership is a financial planning and wealth management business and is part of the Bristol-based Clifton Group, which has over 15,000 clients, 180 employees and £3.7bn in AUM.
