Skybound Wealth launches ‘Learn and Invest’ segments in major app upgrade

By Gary Robinson, 21 Aug 26

Learn brings financial content, into one app-native environment. Invest presents selected investment opportunities with guided routes to begin an application

Skybound Wealth has launched version 3.2 of the Skybound Wealth App, introducing Learn and Invest, two dedicated sections designed to connect the way people build financial understanding with the moment they are ready to seek advice.

The former Skybound section has been superseded by the two new experiences. Learn brings financial content, market updates, videos, magazines, guides and events into one app-native environment. Invest presents selected opportunities across investments, protection, property and planning essentials, with guided routes to begin an application, request a quote, register interest or speak to an adviser.

The release reflects how people actually make important financial decisions, the company said in a statement announcing the launch. A question may begin with a tax change, an international move, retirement planning, family protection or an opportunity that appears relevant. People may then spend days or weeks reading, watching, discussing and returning to the subject before deciding they need personal advice.

Traditional wealth-management journeys can scatter that process across emails, websites, videos and documents. Skybound Wealth App 3.2 has been developed to connect discovery, understanding and the next adviser-led step more effectively.

Learn

Learn provides a curated feed of recent and relevant content from across Skybound. Users can explore the Bulletin, SOAR Magazine, detailed financial and international planning guides, short-form videos, longer-form Masterclasses, upcoming events and information about Skybound’s wider specialist brands and propositions.

Each format has been designed around familiar app interactions. Users can read, watch, like, comment and share without having to learn a different interface for every type of content.

Invest

Invest gives eligible users one organised place to explore selected opportunities across investments, protection, property and planning essentials. Each opportunity explains its principal features, potential relevance and important considerations.

Depending on the proposition, users can begin an application, request a quotation, register their interest or ask for a conversation. Guided journeys capture the initial information required before the enquiry is passed to the appropriate adviser or Skybound team.

The update does not create a self-directed advice or execution marketplace. The adviser remains responsible for understanding the individual circumstances, determining eligibility, assessing suitability and guiding the appropriate next step.

Mike Coady, pictured left, Chief Executive Officer of Skybound Wealth Management Group, said: “People do not make important financial decisions the moment they first encounter an idea. They read, listen, discuss and return to it. Learn supports that period of understanding, while Invest provides a clear route back to advice when intent forms.

“This is not about turning advice into an online shop. Technology should make good advice easier to understand, easier to reach and easier to use.”

Version 3.2 is powered by Plume Wealth Tech, Skybound’s proprietary wealth-technology platform.

Because Skybound owns the platform, its teams can keep content current, manage the visibility of selected propositions, publish events and improve app journeys without requiring a full development release for every change. Aggregated analytics help identify useful content and points of friction.

“Husain Rangwalla, pictured above, Chief Technology Officer at Skybound Wealth, said: Two new sections may look simple, but they represent a complete redesign of discovery, content, propositions and adviser routing.

“Because the app is built on Plume, our teams can keep the experience current, learn from real use and improve it without waiting for a third-party roadmap. The technology is doing its job when the complexity disappears for the client.”

Skybound Wealth App 3.2, including Learn and Invest, is now available on iOS and Android. Existing users can open or update the app to access the new sections.
