ING has opened a flagship store in Madrid ahead of launching its private banking proposition in the coming weeks.
The new premises offers 1,820 square metres across four floors and a rooftop terrace and will serve retail, private banking, business banking and corporate clients.
As the largest branch in Spain, ING said it was created to meet clients’ increasingly diverse financial needs and reflects ING’s growth and transformation in Spain, where it now serves more than four million customers. The bank added that expects to welcome around 800 visitors per day.
Alfonso Tolcheff, CEO of ING in Spain and Portugal, said: “Banking is evolving, and customers increasingly expect to combine the convenience of digital services with access to expert advice whenever they need it.
“This flagship has been designed precisely to respond to that new reality and reflects the journey ING has made in Spain over recent years: becoming a more complete bank, capable of supporting customers across all their financial needs through a proposition that is simple, agile and people centred.”
