Oakglen Wealth is set to complete its acquisition of Aurea Financial Planning Limited in October having received FCA approval for the sale.
Oakglen Wealth has offices in Jersey and London and is part of the privately owned Oakglen Group, an international business. The deal marks the wealth management firm’s entrance into the UK financial planning market.
Clients of Aurea will continue to be served by the same advisers and there will be no immediate changes to client relationships or the services provided, Oakglen said.
Jamie Crawford, group head of wealth management at Oakglen, said: “Receiving FCA approval is an important milestone and brings us closer to completing the acquisition of Aurea.
“Financial planning is an increasingly important part of our long-term strategy, and Aurea’s reputation, people and client relationships make it an excellent fit for Oakglen. We look forward to working together and building on the strong foundations already in place.”
Becky Taylor, managing director of Aurea Financial Planning, added: “This is a positive step for our business, our colleagues and our clients. We look forward to joining Oakglen and continuing to deliver the same high-quality advice and personal service that our clients have come to expect.”
