By Cristian Angeloni, 19 May 21

To help people navigate pension sharing, tax planning and investment management

Independent financial planning firm Longhurst has rolled out a specialist financial advice service for people who have or are getting divorced in England.

ClearPath will leverage on the firm’s existing financial planning capabilities and support divorcees with the help of family lawyers.

The service will encompass issues surrounding pensions sharing, financial disclosure, tax planning, investment management, and mortgage capacity.

ClearPath has been designed by resolution financial planner Steven Hennessy, who will also lead the service, after joining Longhurst in 2020.

Chris Broome, director at Longhurst, said: “I’m delighted that we can now reveal our latest service to our regional and business communities.

“Steve brings a wealth of experience to the table which, when combined with Longhurst’s award-winning client engagement process, means we can now add real value to those going through a divorce or separation.”
